Time Machine - Typical Lo-Fi Sound with native Ableton Live Devices.
The Time Machine Audio Effect Rack utilizes different Filter Settings to imitate the lo-fi Sound of the past musical Decades, using only native Ableton Live Devices. You can easily use this Audio Effect Rack to recreate the currently very popular Retro Sound that makes plug-ins like iZotope Vinyl or Thenatan’s Vybz a Go-To Tool for Modern Producers.
Besides the Time Machine Knob, that selects the Filter Settings typical for the chosen Period of Time, you will also find independent Hi- and Lo-Cut Filters, a Bit Reduction Section and the Output Gain.
To make this Device even more fun to use, I added a Saturator to give your Audio some extra Dirt and a Pitch Drop Effect to simulate the old Tape or Vinyl Pitch Dropout Sound. This way this Audio Effect Rack is all set-up to take your Sound on a Journey trough Time and bring it back to new Life in your future Projects.
