Mid/Side Balancer

Full Stereo Field Control with the Mid/Side Balancer!

The Mid/Side Balancer is a straightforward Audio Effect Rack that gives you full Control over the Stereo Field in your Mixes.

It features a Dual-Band Processing Rack that splits the incoming Audio Signal into a Mono Low-Band and a Stereo Hi-Band. Simply use the Mono Below dial to adjust the Crossover Frequency between them, so your Low-End remains mono.

The Audio Signal is then run through a Mid-Side Processing Rack that allows to control the Balance of the Mid and Sides individually.

With the “Low <- -> High” and “Mid <- -> Sides” dials you can easily switch between the respective Portion of your Audio Track.

The Output Gain dial allows you to compensate the Overall Level, which makes it easier to compare your Mix before and after.

And as you can control the Gain of the Hi- and Low-Band as well as the Mid and Sides individually, this Rack makes it super easy to control the Stereo Field of your Mixes.

BTW: The Mid/Side Balancer is great to separate your individual Instruments or Instrument Groups from each other, but it can also be used on a Mix- or Master Bus to correct the Stereo Field of your Two Track.

Requires Ableton Live 11.2 Intro (or higher).
